FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE–

February 14, 2012

LONG ROAD BEGINS FOR “LONG ROAD HOME”

NEW YORK, NY-  Airwave Rider Records, LLC, is pleased to announce the long-awaited and eagerly-anticipated release of Jack Alden’s debut solo album, “Long Road Home.”

“Long Road Home” comprises 12 of Jack’s personal and fan-favorite solo piano compositions.  Blending folk, classical and popular undertones into a style that is uniquely his, he brings a voice to the piano that has garnered praise and a following that spans genres and generations. Elements and influences flow from Jack’s hands that bring to life the emotive stories that define our human experience.

From the moving strains of longing in “Separated By A Sunrise” to the uplifting sigh of relief in the chorus in “At Last,” to the light romance of “Dance Me To The Moon,” to the haunting refrains in “Remembrance” and “Goodbye, My Love,” Jack Alden’s natural songwriting craft comes to the fore, highlighted by his traditionally-inspired arrangement of Johann Pachelbel’s “Canon in D.”

Jack was exposed to classical music early via his family’s LP collection, but did not start teaching himself piano until age 13 or composing until 16 years of age. It has been a passion for life and all kinds of music that have inspired his musical journey, and we are sure you will be inspired to join Jack on a musical journey of your own.

“Long Road Home” will be available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and other digital outlets on February 29th, 2012.
